We Walk Like We Drive

So I noticed today that we tend to walk the same as we drive! Now this might sound strange to some, but just continue to read and you will understand what I mean when I say that we walk like we drive.

When walking (at least here in America) we walk on the right side of the sidewalk, hall, isle, whatever it is we happen to be walking through. We also drive on the right side of the road unless we are passing someone. The thing that made me notice that we walk like we drive is in when we are passing someone. When I was passing someone today I noticed that when passing a guy today I had to check in front of me to make sure no other person (car) was coming from the opposite direction and then I had to look behind me to make sure nobody (car) was trying to pass both of us. Then when I started to move to the other side of the sidewalk and walk faster (accelerate the car) I did the gently pull out to other lane (other side of the sidewalk) accelerate (walk faster) and then make sure I am far enough ahead of him and gently pull back into my lane (side of the side walk). The reason I noticed that this was very car like is because when I was moving back on to my side of the sidewalk I felt like I was in the passenger seat of a car while my mom or someone was driving and passing someone that was driving too slow for them. So that is my random bit of thought process for today just thought I would tell everyone about my new found discovery.

Heaven!

a/n sorry it has been awhile since I have posted anything! Here is something new for my friends to read because that is who follows this blog!

Okay this in no way is meant to go against anyone’s religious views, so please do not hate me for this because I do believe in God and heaven I was just thinking this one day! What if heaven is actually kind of like the Sixth Sense movie where we actually don’t realize that we are dead and just keep going about with our lives? I mean if that were to happen would we ever get to see our loved ones who passed away before us again. If they do come back into our lives do we just go with it and continue to go to work or do our everyday routines like we aren’t going crazy because our dead relative just all the sudden popped back up into our lives! Maybe there is such things as people who can see the dead then and not because they have can see the future but because the dead walk among us every day! Of course that doesn’t mean those people should abuse their powers for money. God gave them that gift for a purpose they should use it appropriately. Also if we are all put on this earth for a purpose but we die before we are able to accomplish it than is the reason we don’t realize that we are dead and continue with our everyday routines so we can finish our purpose in the afterlife? I don’t know why these thoughts popped into my head I guess mainly just because I got bored one day and weird thoughts pop into my head when I am bored. It might also be because I thought of this after my Granny who I loved with all my heart passed away and I was wondering to myself will I ever get to see her again, but no matter the reason it is something very weird and interesting to think about!

Clothing

Okay I may the only person who thinks this but to me it looks okay to wear long pants with short sleeve tees but when you wear shorts with a long sleeve shirt I find that it looks goofy! I think the reason I feel this way is because any more now a days shorts are too short to wear to a place and look decent where as if you throw on a pair of jeans you look a little more appropriate, and it might be a little warm outside so wearing jeans with a tee shirt is fine to keep you cool. Also if anyone is as self conscious as me you like to wear jeans to cover up your legs because you don’t like how big they are even in the summer but you will wear a tee shirt to keep yourself from sweating to death. The thing is give me any good reason why people walk around with shorts on but a long sleeve shirt. I mean honestly if it is warm enough outside for you to wear shorts wouldn’t you wear a tee shirt to? Or if it is so cold outside that you still have to wear a long sleeve shirt wouldn’t you wear a pair of jeans or even sweat pants to keep your legs warm and keep you from getting sick. I hate to tell some of the girls on my campus it is cold outside and you are wearing a long sleeve shirt and shorts that doesn’t make sense. You can’t give me that whole ‘yeah but I am wearing boots to keep the rest of my legs warm’ because your shorts are so shorts they are practically crawling up your butt and your boots only go to your mid calve. So there for you have at least two feet of your legs that are not covered up and have to be cold outside. I just think people who wear shorts with long sleeves are ignorant but I am not the person who gets to dress them each morning so you know what to each their own I guess!

This is going to be a short blog because it is more of a question for my followers! Do you guys like reading my random thoughts on here? If so, why? Also do you think that my random thought process is weird or makes me a crazy person? Same?

Okay so here is a very interesting thought! When we see colors, shapes, letters, or even people are we actually seeing the same thing or are we seeing different things but have just been taught all our lives that this thing is red, circle, A, or Aunt G? I have had this thought a lot throughout my life, and it is a weird thought but I am a weird person so it is okay. I mean when I see the color red does my best friend actually see what I think is blue but think it is red because that is what she has been taught. Is blue to her actually red to me? Or when I see a circle is my neighbor seeing what would be a square if you asked me but a square to them is a circle. Maybe when I see the letter A my teachers actually see the letter F and that is a good grade to them because all their lives they have been told that the letter they are seeing is actually an A. When I see Aunt G does she actually look different to me than she does to my siblings see her? This thought kind of reminded me of that Jack Black movie were someone put a curse on him to where he saw ugly women as beautiful and beautiful girls as ugly. Is the reason behind all of our different taste in boyfriends/girlfriends because to us the person does look beautiful while to other people the person looks ugly or just plain. This thought has and probably will intrigue me for the rest of life, so I decided to share it with you all so that way you could be intrigued by it and maybe occasionally when you are bored it can pop into your head and keep you distracted for hours just wondering about if all of us see things differently than each other or the same things.

Faces

Okay so I may be crazy, but sometimes when I am laying around staring at the ceiling or sitting around staring at the ground whether it be carpet or tile or whatever I can occasionally find faces in the ceilings, tiles, or carpets texturing. I feel like I am the only person in the world who does this, and I may be. The question is does this make me crazy or just very very creative. I know I have a big imagination but sometimes feel like I am just crazy because I seem them and wish that I didn’t always find the faces in the texture. Then there are times where I wish I were a better drawer or had paper and pencil near me so I could draw the faces I find in the textures. I don’t just see people’s faces but I see animal faces too. I one time thought I saw a sort of angel like figure floating on a cloud over looking a young guy in the ceiling of my dorm. Do you guys think this makes me crazy? Maybe it just makes me unique, after all everyone is different and in my belief no one is truly and completely sain! So what do you guys think am I crazy, unique, or am I just a creative person?

Phones in Quiet Rooms

Okay so while I was in class one day someone’s phone started to ring and I just ignored it because I know it is more of a distraction for people to turn in look for who phone it was plus it is kind of rude. While there were some people who turned a little right after it went off to see who got the phone out to turn it off. I find that that is more distracting because people are moving around and peoples’ eye notice moving around easily. So instead of respecting the teacher and keeping your attention on them and what they are teaching you, you decide to look around for the person whose phone went off hoping to embarrass them. That is one rude because the teacher is trying to teach you something and you are ignoring them and the things they are telling you. It is also rude because like the person isn’t embarrassed enough that their phone went off during class but now you all are trying to find them and point them out to the whole class that it was them which is even more embarrassing. The thing is in this class there was a girl who made me madder than even the people who were being rude and turned around. This girl not only looked for the person whose phone went off, but when she found who it was she gave the person a dirty look like ‘are you kidding me I am trying to learn here’. First of all it is not that persons fault they forgot to turn off their phone it is human nature we tend to forget things sometimes. Also it isn’t the person’s fault that someone decided to text or call them at that moment while they were in class. Lastly the girls isn’t the one who is keeping you from learning anything you are because you had to be a rude twat and turn around to see whose phone went off instead of being like me and ignoring the noise and continuing to listen to the teacher. This girl made me so mad that day that I spent the rest of the day thinking about how rude she was and how much I wish I could hit her because not only has she said some incredibly stupidly rude stuff in class, she has now decided to not only embarrass the person whose phone went off but try blaming them for her distraction from learning. It isn’t their fault they were stupid and turned around and started to ignore the teacher. As my mother always says though you can’t fix stupid!

The Lucky Ones

So I have been reading a lot of stuff from girls about how they feel like the luckiest girls in the world because they got to meet their favorite actor or singer or musical group or go to a concert of their favorite singer or musical group. Reading all of this made me wonder if I would feel like the luckiest girl in the world if any of that happened to me. And of course being the girl that I am I thought long and hard about this before I came up with my conclusion. I would feel like I was lucky, but I do not think I would feel like the luckiest girl in the world just because I was able to meet my idol or go to a concert by them. To me the luckiest girls in the world be the women who’s husband comes home safe and sound from war, the little girls in Africa who is starving one day and has someone sponsoring her giving her three meals a day the next, or the girls who are fighting their hardest to beat cancer and are able to succeed in their fight! To me those would be some of the Luckiest Girls in the World, because meeting your idol or going to one of their concerts happens everyday, but men die everyday in war, girls die of starvation everyday in Africa, and girls die everyday after losing their fight with cancer. If you are reading this and wish that our men and women could come home from war, that there was more food provided for this people in Africa, or that cancer never existed re-post this because we need more Lucky Girls in this world!

Fandoms

Okay I have been reading a lot of fanfics and imagines about my favorite band lately and I am kind of getting frustrated with some of the other thing I find posted about the boys or the boys’ girlfriends from “supposed” fans! First of all if you honestly love a group you love them all not just some of them, but all of them because they would not be the band that they are without all their members. So to sit there and say you like the band, but this one guy ruins it because he is ugly and cannot sing is bull crap because you would not like their music unless you liked the sound of their voices harmonizing too, and if the only reason you like a group is because you think they are cute then you need to check yourself because a fan of a group or band cannot just love them because they are cute. I mean yeah they would still sell a lot of stuff because they are cute, but they want to be liked for their amazing voices not their looks. If you were a true fan then they could be ugly and you would still like their music. Also you would except them for who they are whether it be crazy and childish, mature and daddy like, silent in mysterious, cheeky, or even awkward. Because they are who they are and what right do we as fans have to judge them or change them! I love the guys in my favorite band because they all five have amazing voices, and when I am sad, mad, upset, lonely, or even feel like I might go crazy they can make me smile, laugh, and remind me that no matter what I am important and no one can change that. 

Lastly I would like to add that if you really love your favorite band, group, singer, actor, whatever it is cool and all to make fanfics, but do not insult their girlfriends or upset them or their girlfriends with fake stories about them being gay and crap. Honestly if you are a true fan you would just be happy that you I guess idol is happy! Most of the hate and of the girls that date someone famous is from people who either will never meet that person, is incredibly jealous and wants to take it out on someone because they know they will never be as lucky as that girl, or are just plan rude and should keep their thoughts to themselves because cyberbullying is not cool and could lead to serious self esteem issues or death based on how much it upsets you. No one and I mean absolutely no one deserves to be picked on, teased, or bullied by people who are jealous or think they are better than them! So I you are a TRUE FAN of any group, singer, band, actor, etc., except them for who they are, love them for what they do, and do not under any circumstance insult someone they are dating and love because if you are a TRUE FAN you are happy that they are happy!

Annoying Roommates

Okay so it is bad when you have an annoying roommate yourself, but what if you go to a friends dorm and their roommate makes you feel awkward while in there or says something that makes you want to hit them. I have a friend who is actually in the dorm right next door to me sometimes when I go over to visit her roommate is in there which is rather unfortunate for me because her roommate this semester makes me very angry very easily. First off when I am in there I feel awkward because I will say something to my friend and she butts into the conversation with a “this one time in my life” a lot. Then there is the fact that half the time she never even gives me a chance to talk because of all her “this one time in my life” she has to tell. 

It would be fine if the girl only made me feel awkward but she also really really badly makes me want to hit her in the face. It mainly started out because of stupid snobby things she would say such as “hoodies always make my hair look horrible.” Honestly who cares nobody is going to be paying attention to your hair unless you have hair sticking up. I mean my roommate wanted to hit her just because she walks snobby. Anyway later I started wanting to hit her because she is trying to correct me about my own hometown. First of I was born and raised there so I know what I am talking about. Yeah you might have been raised 30 minutes away but that doesn’t mean that you know crap. She was like “Blank city and your city are like not even 5 minutes apart so it is pretty much the same place there is no difference at all.” Well actually my town is like house-driveway-house, blank city is like house-acre or 2- house. completely different. Then there is also the fact that if they were the “same place” as she says then why the heck do they have 2 different elementary schools! I mean seriously how about learning more about what the heck you are talking about before thinking you are correct about stuff you know nothing what so ever about.

Honestly girls like her make me mad in the first place without having to live next door to one or have to deal with one being my friends roommate. My friend is like give it sometime she will grow on you. First of all I don’t want a snobby full of herself girl becoming someone who will “grow” on me. Second off the only reason my friend can handle her is because she ignores most of the things that her roommate says and when she is actually listening she has a bigger tolerance for ignorantly, snobby, full of themselves people. Sorry I have never and will never want to get used to people like that. I would rather live my life without that type of drama! But my friend is still my friend I just appreciate her a little more for having more tolerance than myself.

One International Language

So me and my roommate were joking around awhile back about Subtitles being the international language. We both know that this is impossible because the only time anyone sees subtitles is when someone has edited them into a movie, TV show, and so on. But would it not be cool if subtitles could could been seen just in the thin air and you could go to any place you wanted to in the world and not have to try learning another language. Also you would not have to worry about the people from that place making fun of your accent while trying to speak their language because they would just read what you say in their language in the subtitles that pop up. To bad this cannot be and until technology makes it so we can only learn new languages to the best of our abilities, worry about being made fun of, and hope that we don’t say the wrong thing!
